Sankofa Kings Community Showcase
On Friday, July 24, 2026, Sankofa Kings — Kingmakers of Oakland's tech residency for Black boys and young men — brought the Community Showcase: Architects of Tomorrow to The Kapor Center in downtown Oakland.
Twenty-five Kings took the floor to launch original, community-focused AI applications and software prototypes: Activation Toolkits built to patch real "bugs" in their own Oakland neighborhoods.
