At Kingmakers of Oakland, we partner with schools and districts to revolutionize how Black boys experience education. Grounded in research and driven by purpose, our six foundational drivers create the climate, culture, and conditions for Black boys to thrive in K-12 education.
We start with an unshakable belief: Black boys are brilliant, beautiful, and possess innate greatness. From this foundation, we collaborate with school leaders, families, and Kings to identify entry points that set them on a path to academic and life success.
