Ikera Davis
Ikera Davis is a 22 year old social justice and sociology double major. I love working with Black youth and trying to make their experiences in schools better and more fruitful for them. I think it’s important for Black kids to see Black people doing positive work in their communities so they don’t feel like the only way to be respected and to implement change is by their proximity to whiteness and white culture. We can save ourselves as long as we have each other.
